Whiskey Myers

Whiskey Myers is Southern to its core. The American Southern rock/red dirt/country band hails from Texas and has a huge following in the red dirt music scene.

It’s no wonder the band has such a following. They bring it when they perform live. You know how some groups just stand behind their instruments and microphones, barely giving the performance any energy? That’s not Whiskey Myers. Energy is the name of the game for these guys. They give everything they have while they run through songs like “Turn it Up” and “Where the Sun Don’t Shine.” If you’ve never heard them live, you’re in for a treat. They are one of the rare bands that are better live than on a CD.

Dalton Domino

Whiskey Myers has grown enough over the years that it requires a top-notch opening act, and Dalton Domino doesn’t disappoint. This country performer has put out a couple of albums and is known for songs like “Find Us Alone” and “Jesus and Handbags.” He’s one of the biggest up-and-coming country artists out there and was even listed as one of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know: May 2017.” The publication gave him rave reviews, comparing his sound to Steve Earle, although his style is more sensitive than the legend’s style. In fact, he’s been known to replace fiddles with orchestral strings.

Domino is an interesting county performer. While so much of the genre is about drinking, Domino has gone sober, and his newfound clarity has helped his music. Get ready for when he brings down the house with his song “Decent Man.” It’s one of his best, and it highlights that clarity.
