The visitor center is open Monday through Friday, and plant tours are available on Mondays and Wednesdays. The tour is available to anyone 10 years of age or older, and it only costs $5 a person. See How It’s Made

See it in person when you take the factory tour. You will see the entire assembly process. The process includes both humans and robots, with the robots stealing the show. In fact, that’s probably the coolest part of the entire process. The robots weld and move parts and work well with the human employees. The humans and robots work together to make the process incredibly efficient.
You will have an entirely new appreciation for vehicles when you see what goes into assembling them. It’s not an easy process, but it’s worth the effort. These vehicles are beautiful, after all.

You’ll also get to see the museum, which houses a nice assortment of Mercedes vehicles. The racecars really stand out. These fine pieces of machinery are even more beautiful up close. If you’ve only seen them on TV or in books, now is your chance to see them in person.
