Friends, families, and music lovers of all ages are welcome to drop by Government Plaza on Friday nights this summer for a free concert series! The fifth annual Live at the Plaza concerts return on June 7, promising an exciting lineup of talented musicians.
WHEN AND WHERE
Government Plaza will host live music every Friday evening in June and July. The first act each night will start by 6 p.m. the plaza is located at 2106 6th Street, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401. The events last until 9 p.m. each Friday.
THE MUSICIANS
The series promises an eclectic mix of styles and genres, from the thoughtful songwriting of Chaquis Maliq to the funky R&B of Jus Gruv. Artists will visit from near and far to perform at the plaza, like The Orange Constant of Athens, Georgia and Adam Hood of Opelika.

SUMMER NIGHTS IN THE PLAZA
In years past, the concerts at Government Plaza has proven to be bustling social scenes, will friends and family milling about the grass with blankets and folding chairs. If you’d like to picnic while the music plays, you may patron one of the food trucks and vendors that set up in the plaza for the festive weekend nights.
