Kentuck Festival

Join the thousands of people from all across the region who plan on attending the 47th annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts on Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21, 2018, in Northport, AL. This is one of the most anticipated outdoor art festivals of the year and fall is the perfect time to get out and enjoy all that it has to offer!

The Kentuck Festival of the Arts is Back

According to their website, the “two-day festival features 270+ artists, live music, spoken word, activities for children, folk and contemporary craft demonstrations, food trucks, and local craft brews.” In short, there is something for festival-goers of all ages at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts.

A Diverse Lineup of Artists

Over 270 artists from 29 states including 78 from the great state of Alabama. That’s the lineup of artists at the 47th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts. If you’d like to get really involved in the festival, why not consider hosting an artist in your home over the weekend? It’s a great way to support the arts and give back to an event that means so much to the community.

Catch Some Great Musical Acts

Another great element of the Kentuck Festival of the Arts are the incredible musical acts that perform live on stage. This year’s lineup includes performances by North Alabama Irish Music Session, Men of Prayze, Tristen, Michaela Anne, and The Blue Cats. In addition, the Spoken Word Stage will feature performances by Steve Hobbs, Improbable Fictions, A Celebration of Alabama Writers, and the Alabama Student Association for Poetry

Volunteer at the 47th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts

A festival like this could not be pulled off successfully year after year without the tireless work and dedication of an army of volunteers. Past festivals have included over 200 volunteers who help make sure the festival runs smoothly and everyone has a great time. If you’d like to volunteer, there is still time to do so!
